Pumicite acts as a gentle exfoliant to remove dead skin cells, clean pores, & restores skin vibrancy. It is a solution to exfoliation without the use of harsh chemicals. Simply add pumice powder to lotions, creams and soap to create an exfoliating effect. Pumice is formed through extreme pressurizations and explosions of lava from the erruption of a volcano. This rush of gas from the vent shreds the magma and blows it out as a molten froth. The froth rapidly solidifies as it flies through the air and falls back to Earth as pieces of pumice. Pumice can then be broken down into Pumicite, or simply put "Volcanic Ash".
